Bengaluru, India The reviews seemed great and the menu creative but the food didn't pass muster but for the sattu paratha. The gobhi manchurian was stodgy and sour , the paneer chatpata had stale paneer and was sour tooo. Perhaps a bad day for them but surely not again for me. may be the sattu... Continue Reading →
Bier Garten
Bangalore,India Visited Bangalore after 7 months and put this on my list to cover. Packed to the hilt on a saturday evening this sprawling microbrewery seemed to be managed with ease. As a group of 4 we parked ourselves at the bar for beer as expecting a table was futile. With Wheat, lager and a... Continue Reading →
Arthur’s Theme, Baner
Pune, India Went to this place after long, the last time was 6 years back at their Koregaon place. This one at Balewadi High Street is done up in good taste. Bright colours, cheerful upholstery and an energetic vibe. The place however disappointed once again due to lack of attention to food. The woodfired pizzas... Continue Reading →
House of Paratha
Pune, India Very good product at a good price. The parathas were huge and the filling generous. We had ordered the paratha thali and the dal and sabzi that came along didn't pass muster. Suggest you go for parathas only, it comes with boondi raita and salad. Will try more from their list of parathas soon!
Salt, Hinjewadi
Pune,India Enroute Lavasa from Hinjewadi, this place has an open garden concept restaurant with a central courtyard. Their oriental options are great and the Indian selection good. Last thing I would like to appreciate them is for their... Continue Reading →
Aaheli,Kolkata serves at Jamavar, Leela!
Mumbai, India Mumbai has seen the popularity of Bengali cuisine rising over the last one decade and enthusiastic non-bengali diners can now discern between the good and the not so. I have been upping the ante with Bong food given all the Kolkata travels and a host of eateries opening up in the city whilst... Continue Reading →
Dilli’s Chawla Chicken
Delhi, India The food here packs a punch, their gravies are a melange of spices and come out beautifully. Had the soya Chaap Masala and will go back for it again. The portion size is big enough for two and the rotis that I had to accompany it were wholewheat and crisp. Do ask for... Continue Reading →
Pickwicks, Claridges
Delhi, India Was staying with them and was there for breakfast 3 days in a row. Their buffet is not the most elaborate like you would see in modern five star hotels due to lack of space however they make up for the same with items like eggs, dosas, pancakes etc coming from the kitchen....
