Stumbled upon this place on Zomato and planned for a late holiday lunch with a bunch of friends, the place is open till 1630 for lunch. Done up in a minimal style, this place would gives you a feel for a highway side dhabas, with brick walls and tin roofs. What drew me to this place was their Maswadi and Tupachi bhakar and I’m glad I took the 15km commute. Maswadi on similar lines of the Nagpuri Patodi is a gram flour preparation spiced with poppy seeds, garlic, coconut, sesame etc cooked, cooled and cut into cubes to be eaten as a snack or served as a main dunked in a gravy. We relished the maswadi in gravy with bajra bhakris soaked in ghee and to add to the spice was a devilled red shev bhaji. Exquisite flavour and enjoyable spice made that lunch memorable one. Ask for a chilled glass of Solkadi or Chaas, trust me you will need it. Non Vegetarians, all the other ‘100 items’ on the menu are for your and my carnivore friends unanimously endorsed it.
