So what do you need for a good brunch? Good food, Champagne perhaps, relaxed ambience and yes music. The brunch at Citrus has all of them. Starting with an array of salads and healthy juice mixes, I went on to the grills and appetizers, their mushroom tikkis struck a chord and so did Handvo a Gujrathi specialty.
For mains from the Indian, Chinese, Thai and German options I picked the Kaese Spaetzle a Bavarian specialty, it was just like the one I had during my travels to Germany last year. Thoroughly impressed Citrus, maintaining the authenticity is key! I ended my mains with crisp Appams and a spectrum of chutneys and stews. Sunday brunches are about relaxation as much as it is about getting ready for the Monday and the music help elevate and rejuvenate as much as the window side seat with a green view.
Waffles, coffee and conversations held me back till early evening… A well spent 3.5hrs!
