Shizusan, Lower Parel

A very average experience overall.

Ups:
– edamame dumpling which was 4 star

Downs
– service was lack luster. Had to ask for water twice before they refilled. Staff was busy closing than serving.
– the sriracha Sushi lacked the freshness , I ain’t a sushi expert but there was something amiss. It fell apart when using chopsticks, was warm and most importantly tasted very average
– the lotus stem was stodgy and poor.

Shizusan in my experience was far better 3 years back and my fellow diner a regular to this place a few years back agreed too. They need to pull up their socks and come back to their hay days. Hope to visit Kurla sometime which is closer to home, let’s see.
